Your Summer Goals for Living Better

Your Summer Goals for Living Better

by Gaby Pritchard

Summer always seems to fly by and before you know it it’s Winter again and we are all back inside. This year, let’s make the most of it and have one that’s unforgettable.

1. Drink more water

Stay hydrated. There is nothing quite like soaking up the rays on a summer day, but you need to make sure you drink plenty of water to keep yourself healthy. A god idea is to carry a reusable bottle in your bag at all times, this way you can refill your water before leaving the house and when you are out and about – did you know that you can always stop by a coffee shop and ask them to refill your bottle for free!

2. Wear SPF everyday

You should be wearing SPF all day every day – yes even in the Winter! There might not be much visible sun, but the harmful UV rays are still there. Start wearing it now, and you’ll thank yourself in years to come. Bye, bye wrinkles…

3. Do more outdoor activities

Jump off the sofa, it’s time to get outside, get moving and breathe in the fresh air. There is no better way to spend a summer’s day than under the hot sunshine. Activities that can be done outside are endless: from surfing to wake-boarding, bike rides in the park to yoga on the beach, countryside walks to wild swimming in waterfalls – there is something for everyone.

...and who knows you might discover a new activity that you really love!

4. Refresh your Summer wardrobe

It’s time to take your woolly jumpers out the wardrobe, because the sunshine has finally arrived. If you’re now planning to get active outside, you’ll need something stretchy and comfy, like an activewear set or jersey shorts. Similar to if you’re lounging around a cabin for a stay-cation weekend or taking strolls around the countryside, an oversize tee and cycling shorts would be the perfect combination to keep you feeling cool and comfy.

Venturing to a city or having a garden party? Linen trousers or shorts will give you the effortless and stylish look you are striving for.

5. Plan a Summer getaway

Whether it’s riding solo, taking a trip with friends, a romantic getaway or a family holiday, everyone needs to get away once in a while. Even if you don’t fancy a vacation just yet, there are a variety of stay-cation spots in the UK whether you are wanting to relax, explore or just eat

Minikidz hope you have the best Summer!
